This sculpture is made from a bioplastic that makes it look alive, like it could grow and fill the whole loom that it is placed within. It appears loose and flexible, more jelly-like than plastic, and like it could be hauled out of water by the fishing line that it hangs on at any point. Its irregular edges, organic forms and textures make it look like a landscape itself. This sculpture shows not just a new and unusual material, but a story of growing and life.
