When you look at Elsa Rouy's work, especially the video, the first thoughts and feelings that come to mind are uncomfortable and uncomfortable. In the video, we can feel that the unfamiliar visual and auditory elements even bother the audience. Her work, which maximises the socially tabooed and dark aspects that people don't want to see, brings back the themes that people would pretend not to know and she directly let the audience face the discomfort.
(Honestly saying, I gave up to keep watching the video till the end and just skipped some seconds. I believe that won’t make the artist so angry because it seems like it could be even a part of her expectation.)
